"Proud of you, precious Cuz ❤️"
Thanks to our wonderful staff, donors, and volunteers, the Fort Smith Crisis Intervention Center has been able to serve more women and children who are taking refuge in our emergency safe shelter. In order to continue to support these families, and in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we have created a campaign to provide household necessities to ten families on their journey towards independence. We are asking our partners to rally their friends, family, and networks to support our work. By becoming a fundraiser for the CIC, you will help us serve more survivors of domestic violence and their children, and you'll help your loved ones feel good about doing good.
Getting started is easy to do, and it's fun. Just click the "Start Fundraising Now" button located at the top of this page. With your help, we can reach our overall campaign goal of $3,000 by October 31st. When you create a fundraiser page, you'll just need to determine a personal goal. If just 15 people raised $200 each, then we would hit our goal!
Please help us provide household necessities to ten families as they establish a new home free from domestic violence. If you are unable to create a personal fundraiser, please consider donating to one of the campaigns that have already launched. By fundraising or donating you will help the CIC provide air mattresses, cooking essentials, and other items needed as these families assemble their new homes. When escaping a dangerous situation, personal belongings often get left behind. Many times these families come with nothing but the clothes on their backs. YOU can help these families rebuild their lives and homes!
